Awards

Our Wells shop was awarded Gold in the Taste of the West Hospitality & Retail Awards 2022. with the following comments:

"A delightful experience with a huge selection of flapjacks and other well packaged sweets. The portion sizes were very generous. We tasted a selection of different favoured Flapjacks, particularly enjoying the Apple and Blackberry Flapjack, Peanut Butter Brownie Flapjack, and the Salted Caramel Brownie Flapjack. It was great to have so many flavours to choose from."

About our store

We have launched on Sadler Street, where customers can choose from a variety of mouth-watering, gluten-free flapjacks, and we will be supporting the Cathedral with £1.50 for every Wells-specific box of six and £4 for every box of twelve flapjacks donated to the historic building.

Sally and Carol, owners of Flapjackery, are so excited to bring their delicious, award-winning Devon-made flapjacks to Wells and are delighted to be supporting the Wells Cathedral

The Canon Chancellor of Wells Cathedral, the Revd. Canon Dr Rob James said: "It's great to see new shops opening in the heart of Wells. It brings hope for the recovery of commerce and of our High Streets across the county. I am most grateful for that. Flapjackery are generously making a donation to Wells Cathedral from their sales, so when you buy flapjacks, you not only get a tasty treat, but you also help the work of the Cathedral and the heritage of the city. What's not to like?". There will be plenty of flavours for customers to choose from, such as  Apple and Blackcurrant, Caramel Latte, Peanut Butter Brownie, Lemon Drizzle, Honeycomb, Passion Fruit and Dark Chocolate, Chocolate Orange, Black Forest Brownie, Rocky Road and, of course, Traditional.

All flapjacks are suitable for home freezing and have a varying shelf life, depending upon the ingredients, with the shortest shelf life of two weeks. The flapjacks are individually wrapped and, for multiple purchases, come in recyclable cardboard boxes. For those who would rather not take a box, 20p will be donated to Wells Cathedral.

Alongside the flapjacks, there will also be other treats to choose from, such as fudge and jams.
